Coty is a character in Torment: Tides of Numenera.

Background

A young slave who volunteered for service in the Bloom, Coty would normally be punished with prison for his stealing. However, he doesn't think he deserves prison after what he did to his sister: A prank gone awry that resulted in her drowning. He spent ten years on the run, stealing to make a living, until he finally found a way to make himself atone for his crimes: Bloom-slavery.

	This character has other interactions.	Can be ordered to steal money from people in the Bloom. Can be ordered to steal an object from a merchant (he will steal an oddity). In both cases he will provide what was asked only the day after (rest required), and he has a chance of getting caught and killed by the Memovira.

• Freedman: You can purchase Coty from Parsim Flint and then set him free. You still need to find him a job, though.
