Foreman's Brood is a side quest in Torment: Tides of Numenera.

Synopsis

The Crippled Foreman wants to transfer its life force into tiny metallic children that it has built. So far, it's been unable to transfer sufficient power, so it asked for my help. If the power transfer succeeds, the children will live, but the Crippled Foreman will die.

Walkthrough

• Talk to the Crippled Foreman and accept his quest. Talk to Tarnish, who will try to dissuade you from aiding his charge. He will point you in the direction of the Order of Truth.
• Talk to Sn'erf about the procreation process. Pay 50 shins. He will ask you a series of questions and give you the Procreative Surge Turbine.
• Return to the Foreman. You'll have several options to undertake:
  • Intellect (Lore: Machinery)
  • Speed (Lore: Machinery, Lore: Natural) to create the children.
  • Intellect (Persuasion)
• If you choose to give life to the constructs, you will be able to take them all (giving you The Foreman's Children usable, The Empty Child, Hyperkinetic Child cyphers, and the Stillborn Construct oddity).
