Freedman is a quest in Torment: Tides of Numenera.

Synopsis[ | ]

You've purchased the deed to a young slave boy named Coty. His future is in your hands. Coty doesn't know what he wants to do with the rest of his life, and needs a little guidance. Attempt to find some employment for him.

Walkthrough[ | ]

Talk to Parsim Flint and buy the deed to Coty for 400. You can negotiate the price down to 300 by passing an Intellect Persuasion check, or 250 if you fail it.
Talk to Coty and you will be able to free him, but to ensure he doesn't go back to his old habits, you will need to find him a job.
There are three job opportunities for Coty. Brusca in the Courtyard will give him a job as a guard. Sundermun the Elder in The Vast Interior will take him on as an apprentice. The Observant Speck at the Shrine of Great Chila will hire him to clean the place.
Return to Coty.
