Jagged Memory is a Chiurgical upgrade in Torment: Tides of Numenera.

Description

This artifact is a metal mesh, installed beneath your skin, that guides your attacks so they will always seem to find an old scar or wound that never quite healed, causing more serious injury than would otherwise be dealt. The noted scholarch Arii-noq postulated that this artifact functions by causing the older wound before the fight ever begins. The injury then troubles the victim, perhaps for years, slowing them such that the current attack lands.
