This short, red-haired man has vivid green eyes that emanate a mix of sadness, lost dreams, and hope. The stranger sizes you up and for a second you feel true interest in your persona, but then he looks away, lost in his thoughts. A moment later, he turns back and smiles. This smile is like his eyes, full of shards of emotions: caution, cynicism, fear, and friendliness. His arms are tied and he looks like he's been beat up pretty badly.
Utwag is the nominal leader of the folk captured by the cultists of the Endless Gate. He and his team originally left the Oasis of M'ra Jolios weeks earlier, tracking a numenera called a World String, capable of spinning a fine web capable of slicing a world in two. Narve the Blessed and Jenkins the Jinxed were his two companions, who ran into Memorialists in a bit of trouble, after they sought shelter in the Valley, running away from the threats inhabiting the Verxulian Waste. What they didn't count on was getting into a bit of trouble themselves.
The Caretakers' Riddle: He and his crew are kept captive by the Endless Gate cultists. You can kill them one by one to force Talira Kyo to spill the beans.
